The Single Life

While marriage may provide certain benefits, when you choose to stay single, you're keeping the door open for many more options and opportunities in your life. Your male independence is something you should never surrender lightly, even if you think you've met the girl of your dreams.

So think twice (or maybe three times) before you take that long walk down the aisle. If you're still not sure about it, however, here's one last reason for staying single: You don't have to deal with in-laws. Point made.

Matthew Fitzgerald is the author of Sex-Ploytation. He has appeared on radio shows from coast-to-coast in the United States and in Canada, and has been featured on The Montel Williams Show and The Other Half.

Top 5: Foods for a good night’s sleep

1. Banana
Banana is loaded with melatonin magnesium which has relaxing effects of muscles and serotonin which is one of the best sleep stimulating substance. It’s a good snack to eat before you hit the sack.

2. Oatmeal
Oatmeal has a high content of melatonin as well, which works as a sedative for your system. Eat it with milk before going to bed and you’ll be counting sheep soon.

3. Chamomile Tea
The chemical compounds in garlic help to thin blood. Onions prevent proteins from forming harmful clots and red chilli powder prevents platelets from clumping, allowing the blood to flow easily.

4. Potatoes
Potatoes contain tryptophan which clears away acids and is helpful in aiding sleep. Baked potatoes combined with warm milk have a great sleep inducing effect.

5. Turkey
Turkey is loaded with tryptophan. When eaten with carbs and whole wheat bread it is even more effective. Be prepared to sleep like a baby after Thanksgiving dinner.
